Pfc. Bissa was initially buried at Foy Cemetery near Bastogne, Belgium. Overseas a year Pfc. Bissa was stationed in England before going to France. He participated in the battles for France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany. A graduate of Thornton Fractional Township high school in Camulet City, Illionois, where he starred on football and basketball teams Pfc. Bissa was employed at the Pressed Steel Car company before entering the service.
